Rep. Day Voted “Best Politician” for Pulaski County

Waynesville, MO – For the fourth time State Representative David Day of the 148th District (Dixon–R) was voted “Best Politician” in the annual Daily Guide contest.  Each year the Daily Guide includes in their paper a ballot that is circulated county wide.  The ballot simply asks their readers to vote for their choice of the “Best of the Best” in various  categories.  These categories include such things as Best Stores, Best Food, Best Places, just to name a few.

Under the category of “Best People” is where the ballot for “Best Politician” can be found.  Representative Day, for the fourth time, was voted Best Politician.  “While this is very unscientific, it truly is an honor.  I have always enjoyed reading over the list each year and seeing who the winners in each category are, and to have my name on that list is very humbling” Day said.  “I appreciate the honor very much but the real “Best of the Best” are  the people of Pulaski County.  I am so fortunate to have the opportunity to represent some of the best people you can find anywhere in our state’s capitol, the people of the 148th District” Day concluded.

Rep. Day has also been named Legislator of the Year by the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Freshman Legislator of the Year, and is the Vice-President of his legislative class.
