Dear Editor,

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting Rep David Day and watch him in his role as Legislator.  He is chair of the Veterans Affairs Committee and does an excellent job in that and as a representative of his district.  He helped enthusiastically with passage of HJR 15. a bill which if passed by the Senate and approved by the voters would give some relief to totally disabled former prisoners of war on their homestead taxes. 

David’s expertise in the workings of the legislature and his excellent reputation among his fellow legislators helped immensely in moving the legislation to a vote.  His eager willingness to help these aging heroes was gratifying and I just wanted to let his district know how well they are represented by David.
